Sunflowers Preschool
Children come to school dressed for outdoor play time. Snack preparations, play, and gardening take place until all students have arrived. An active circle, exposing children to cross body movements, navigating fine and gross motor skills, as well as the beauty of language arts, follows. We then set out on a long walk into the woods or to a park space. Here children can participate in outdoor snack preparation, fort and shelter building, or imaginative play of their choosing. After snack is enjoyed together, we return to school for story time and lunch. Lunch is followed by rest. Once children awake, indoor play time and artistic activities round out the day.
Our preschool is currently fully enrolled. Spots that come available will be filled from our waitlist with priority given to siblings of enrolled students and children who are potty trained.
