Program Offerings
Below are descriptions of our pilot programs and ways we hope to expand our offerings in the future. Please share your feedback with us through the contact page and help us develop programs that will meet the needs of your children and family.
Sunflowers Preschool Class
Ages 4-6
Daily activities are rhythmic and repetitive so children can predict what the day will bring and feel at ease. Our programs provide space and tools for unstructured, imaginative play outdoors. We offer children the opportunity to feel the changing seasons, discover the plants that grow in the wild and in the garden, and learn the nuances of social behavior through imitative play. Physical development of reflexes and agility come naturally as children climb and explore the natural world. Introduction to early literacy and numeracy are interwoven through song and storytelling.
Sego Lillies Class
AGE 3
We offer this class for three year olds as they transition from toddlers to preschoolers.
Bluebells Toddler Class
AGES 1-3
We offer gentle, home-like care for young children ages one to three years old.
After School Care
AGES 1-10
Apple Valley School currently offers an aftercare option for enrolled students. In the future, we hope to open this programming to other children ages three and a half through ten years old, beginning at 2:30pm. This program begins with a snack followed by farm and art projects or seasonally relevant craft projects and free play, either indoors or out depending on the day.
